TOURIST TAX

​As off the 9/3/2020 our Gite has been given a 4 star classification by the Gironde tourist office.

This means the individual tourist tax is 1.57 € per night per person-adults over 18years of age.

We have to charge this as a separate amount, which we pay in cash to the tourist office on a monthly basis.

For example;-  a family of 2 adults and 3 children, (for the purposes of the tax the children do not count), staying for 2 weeks, the total tax payable will be 1.57 € x 14 x 2 = 43.69 €

A party of 4 adults staying for 10 days would be 1.57 € x 10 x 4 = 62.80 €

If you have booked through a holiday company such as HomeAway they will charge this in the price of your holiday, (it will show separately), unfortunately we are not allowed to do this.
